Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guyana.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in IT or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience (including at least 6 years in IT).

• MUST HAVE verbal and written proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale enterprise IT systems.

• Extensive practical experience in overseeing highly available and resilient Azure production environments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, cloud networking, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and both Windows and Linux servers.

• Proficient in managing Windows domains and Active Directory.

• Expertise in utilizing PowerShell and Graph API for Azure management, workflow automation, and deployment orchestration.

• Familiar with provisioning and managing access for technologies like Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Foundry.

• Experience in integrating Microsoft Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio, and Copilot Agents into enterprise Azure/M365 setups, including the configuration and governance of data access controls.

• Significant experience in building, deploying, and managing virtual machines in Azure from the ground up.

• A history of applying structured thinking to diagnose complex issues in cloud or hybrid systems and developing scalable, sustainable solutions.

• Well-developed methodologies for diagnosing and resolving technical challenges.

• Broad enterprise-level expertise in infrastructure, Azure cloud architecture, identity and access management with Entra ID, and emerging AI-driven automation technologies, facilitating the evaluation and recommendation of modernization opportunities, security enhancements, and strategic technology updates.

• Skills in configuring Microsoft Entra tenants and domains, including DNS and VNET setup.
