Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline AND a minimum of 8 years of professional experience (including at least 6 years in IT).

• MUST HAVE proficiency in both verbal and written English and Spanish.

• Experience in managing large-scale enterprise IT systems.

• Extensive hands-on experience with highly available and resilient Azure production environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, cloud networking, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and both Windows and Linux servers.

• Skilled in managing Windows domains and Active Directory.

• Proficient in utilizing PowerShell and Graph API for Azure management, workflow automation, and deployment orchestration.

• Familiar with provisioning and managing access for technologies such as Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Foundry.

• Experience in integrating Microsoft Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio, and Copilot Agents into enterprise Azure/M365 environments, including configuration and governance of data access controls.

• Significant experience in building, deploying, and managing virtual machines in Azure from the ground up.

• Proven track record of applying structured thinking to diagnose complex cloud or hybrid system challenges and create scalable, sustainable solutions.

• Well-established methodologies for diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.

• Extensive enterprise-scale knowledge across infrastructure, Azure cloud architecture, identity and access management with Entra ID, and emerging AI-driven automation technologies—facilitating the evaluation and recommendation of modernization opportunities, security enhancements, and strategic technology replacements.

• Proficient in configuring Microsoft Entra tenants and domains, including DNS and VNET setup.

• Dedicated to fostering and enhancing a culture of inclusion within and among teams.
