This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design, deploy, and oversee essential Azure infrastructure components to support critical workloads.
• Architect and execute effective Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies within Azure (Entra ID) to guarantee least-privilege access and facilitate secure collaboration across teams.
• Establish and uphold security controls and governance in line with frameworks such as CMMC, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
• Create and enhance reusable infrastructure as code (IaC) components and templates for consistent, secure, and scalable deployments.
• Define and execute standardized deployment patterns and workflows for production environments.
• Work collaboratively with other teams (IT, InfoSec, Networking) to grasp their needs and translate them into secure, scalable Azure solutions.
• Identify operational challenges and design innovative solutions that enhance system availability, reliability, and security.
• Implement and oversee Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions to secure remote access and internal communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems/IT, or a related engineering discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architectures, with a proven history of managing and scaling production workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, and Conditional Access.
• Proven ability with security compliance frameworks (CMMC, FedRAMP, ISO, SOC, etc.) and experience in implementing technical controls to fulfill these standards.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Bicep, or similar).
• Must be eligible to obtain Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
