Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure and AWS.

• Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and highly available through proactive performance tuning, capacity planning, and operational enhancements.

• Collaborate with operations teams to monitor production services, address incidents, and enhance reliability across cloud platforms.

• Spearhead the migration of workloads from legacy or on-premises systems to contemporary cloud and hybrid architectures.

• Offer technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional infrastructure teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years dedicated to cloud engineering.

• Demonstrable experience in leading cloud migration and modernization projects within regulated settings.

• Technical expertise in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud services, cloud networking, storage, application services, virtualization, and containerization.

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform.

• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.

• Knowledge of zero-trust security principles and secure cloud configuration methodologies.

• Familiarity with supporting federal agency IT environments that adhere to FISMA/FedRAMP security and compliance standards.
