This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead projects for Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations, encompassing planning, execution, and optimization after migration.
• Manage large-scale file migrations from on-premises systems to Azure Files, SharePoint Online, and various Microsoft cloud services.
• Spearhead cloud cost optimization initiatives across Azure and M365, focusing on right-sizing, reserved instances/savings plans, license rationalization, and FinOps reporting to achieve measurable savings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate, plan, and implement cloud modernization and migration strategies.
• Direct integration projects across diverse platforms and tools.
• Design, construct, and maintain integrations utilizing REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures to facilitate secure and scalable data exchange among cloud platforms.
• Create automation workflows.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout all migration, integration, and operational processes, adhering to the Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Provide advanced support for Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity management, conditional access, and Zero Trust controls.
• Design and sustain business continuity and disaster recovery solutions, including Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, geo-redundancy, and tested RTO/RPO targets, to ensure the resilience of AvonRisk operations.
• Develop and manage automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform) to enhance migration, provisioning, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Establish and enforce Azure governance measures, including landing zones, management groups, policies, RBAC, and tagging, in alignment with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as the primary escalation point for cloud infrastructure and platform issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex challenges related to cloud infrastructure, migration, and integration across Azure and M365.
• Keep abreast of emerging Azure and M365 features, recommending best practices and innovations that align with industry-standard cloud architecture principles.
• At least 7+ years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise settings.
• Proven expertise in Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations, including the migration of domains and identities.
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale file migrations from on-premises environments to Azure Files, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Zero Trust security, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure cost management and FinOps practices, including budgets, reservations, savings plans, and chargeback/showback mechanisms.
• Experience in integrating platforms across a variety of tools.
• Proven ability to design and operate Microsoft 365 services at scale, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams, with a focus on governance and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Advanced skills in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar languages).
