Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure that underpins global SaaS platforms.

• Collaborate with teams in software engineering, architecture, product management, and cybersecurity to produce robust cloud solutions.

• Take the lead and contribute to the modernization of cloud infrastructure and platform services.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to enhance deployment consistency, speed, and reliability.

• Support and optimize cloud-native applications to guarantee high availability, performance, and scalability.

• Define and advocate for cloud engineering best practices, standards, and governance across various teams.

• Improve platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency through proactive engineering and ongoing enhancement.

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve intricate cloud infrastructure and application issues in production settings.

• Drive enhancements in CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and release procedures.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to establish and maintain rigorous security controls and compliance standards.

• Assess and integrate new cloud technologies and tools to boost platform capabilities and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architectures.

• Experience in designing and supporting secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• __Preferred Qualifications__

• AWS certification.

• Experience in migrating applications to the cloud.

• Experience supporting .NET and/or Java applications.

• Familiarity with Azure or multi-cloud environments.
