Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee Azure infrastructure encompassing compute, networking, storage, identity, and security services.

• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 workloads, which include Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, along with security and compliance functionalities.

• Provide support and maintenance for GCC High (Government Community Cloud) environments, ensuring compliance with federal security and regulatory standards.

• Spearhead configuration, policy formulation, and lifecycle management within Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

• Architect, implement, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, focusing on image management, FSLogix, scaling, and performance optimization.

• Oversee and maintain server infrastructure (Windows Server, AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) in hybrid settings.

• Manage and improve identity and access management through Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and identity governance.

• Apply cloud security best practices, monitoring, and compliance measures throughout Azure and M365.

• Diagnose intricate cloud, identity, and infrastructure challenges in hybrid environments.

• Create documentation, runbooks, and operational guidelines for cloud services.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or enterprise infrastructure positions.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security.

• Demonstrated experience working in GCC High or other regulated cloud environments.

• In-depth expertise with Microsoft Intune for device and application management.

• Strong proficiency in Azure infrastructure components (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Key Vault, Monitoring, Automation).

• Experience in deploying and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop.

• Robust background in Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure.

• Comprehensive understanding of identity management with Microsoft Entra ID.

• Capability to design secure, scalable, and compliant cloud architectures.
