Senior Cloud Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure call center solutions utilizing AWS services such as AWS Connect, Lambda, Lex, CloudFormation, and S3.

• Engage in SAFe Agile ceremonies, collaborating with Product Owners and Product Managers to prioritize features in the backlog.

• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code through AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer.

• Integrate AWS Connect with internal systems to facilitate smooth telecommunication workflows.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure and call center performance using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, and other observability solutions.

• Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices, including network segmentation, VPC configuration, data encryption, IAM policies, and multi-factor authentication.

• Participate in the on-call rotation to maintain 24/7 uptime for mission-critical telecommunication services.

• Collaborate closely with System Administrators to support hybrid infrastructure that combines traditional platforms like Avaya with modern cloud-based solutions.

• Provide technical leadership to enhance ETIS's hybrid call center infrastructure through automation, performance optimization, and modernization.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Secret clearance or higher is required.

• Over 7 years of experience in cloud engineering focused on AWS infrastructure and call center solutions.

• Extensive expertise in AWS Connect, Lex, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

• Practical experience integrating AWS services with Avaya or similar PBX systems.

• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes is a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.

• Experience in delivering secure, scalable solutions in federal or law enforcement environments is highly preferred.
