Senior Cloud Developer, Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Responsible for providing support across all Oracle Cloud modules, including configurations, reports and interfaces, security, testing, and user training. Develops and maintains system/application documentation. Leverages advanced knowledge of business processes and functions to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.

• Possesses proficiency in business functions to offer expertise on new application releases and functionalities within modules. Advises users on available options, potential risks, and impacts on other processes or systems. Serves as a mentor for intermediate and associate-level developers and analysts.

• Collaborates with HR, Payroll, and Finance to identify and implement new features and enhancements. Configures Oracle Cloud to fulfill functional requirements and documents application setups.

• Works in partnership with Cloud administrators for upgrades and patches, assessing impacts on functionality.

• Continuously enhances knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies to align with functional area goals and objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, ideally in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience with most of Oracle's Cloud-based HCM, ERP, and EPBCS modules.

• Proven experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of Oracle Cloud applications.

• Experience in supporting a mix of Oracle HCM and ERP applications, including: Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll, Purchasing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Project Contracts modules.

• Experience in the higher education sector is desirable.

• Advanced expertise in BI reporting technologies, particularly Oracle Business Intelligence.

• Experience with cloud security and workflows is a plus.

• Strong planning, organizing, and project management abilities.

• Capacity to work independently, manage multiple complex projects, and suggest industry best practices based on business needs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information in both technical and non-technical terms.

• Capability to engage in cross-functional discussions to analyze requirements and propose solutions.
