Senior Cloud Architect, German Skills

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• In the role of (Senior) Cloud Architect with German proficiency (all genders), you will design, develop, and enhance contemporary cloud architectures within AWS and Azure ecosystems.

• You will collaborate closely with clients and technical teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions while promoting architectural best practices and innovation.

• Create, implement, and further refine cloud architectures and operational models utilizing AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Establish and uphold cloud architecture standards, blueprints, and best practices.

• Develop sustainable security, governance, and management processes for cloud platforms and applications.

• Guarantee the security, scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based solutions.

• Assess business and technical needs and convert them into sustainable cloud architectures.

• Work closely with software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to facilitate automation and cloud-native solutions.

• Assist in technical decision-making processes and convey architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Propel cloud modernization efforts and support clients throughout their cloud transformation journeys.

• Monitor and enhance cloud costs, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or infrastructure settings.

• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, particularly in the design and operation of cloud-native solutions.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.

• A solid understanding of cloud architectures, DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices.

• Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, networking, and governance principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities complemented by a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

• Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the capability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.

• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure) are advantageous.

• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is beneficial.

• Proficiency in both English and German.
