Senior Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of technical solution designs for both internal and external/client-related projects.

• Convert business requirements into architectural patterns and solution designs in collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering, and compliance teams.

• Create documentation for solution designs and patterns utilizing architecture diagrams and design documents.

• Provide hands-on delivery of working environments, eliminate obstacles, and ensure the success of the engineering team.

• Investigate emerging technologies and formulate implementation standards and best practices.

• Develop proof of concepts to validate design recommendations.

• Evaluate work outputs and provide mentorship to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering scalable, production-ready, cloud-first solution designs using Microsoft Azure, Fabric, and M365 technologies.

• Background in implementing solutions that include AI concepts and technologies, such as Microsoft Foundry, agentic frameworks, and RAG.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies including AKS, Azure Container Apps, Istio, and image management.

• Fundamental understanding of Windows and Linux administration, including Ubuntu and RHEL.

• In-depth knowledge of IT security, networking, software development, infrastructure deployment methodologies, and industry best practices.

• Experience with Microsoft and Azure data platforms, including Fabric, Power BI, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, DocumentDB, and Azure Data Factory.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• More than 15 years of professional experience in network/system administration, software development, information security, or related fields.

• Evidence of technical leadership demonstrated through design influence, architecture standards, or enhanced solution delivery practices.

• Commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to new tools and platforms.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Advanced Security.

• Nice to have: Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
