This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

📋 Description

• Design and create backend systems in Clojure that drive Vera's essential intelligence and orchestration functionalities.

• Develop the infrastructure that supports shared context, reasoning, coordination, and decision-making across various AI products.

• Engage with the entire technology stack as required; our frontend utilizes Datastar, diverging from a conventional React/JS framework.

• Play a role in shaping technical direction, making architectural choices, participating in peer reviews, and sharing knowledge within a senior engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, senior-level expertise in Clojure - you are well-versed in the ecosystem beyond just the syntax.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL: capable in schema design, query optimization, and practical operational experience.

• Familiarity with Integrant for system architecture and Temporal for workflow orchestration is highly desirable.

• Comfortable working with Datastar on the frontend aspects.

• Knowledge of Lisp-family languages (Common Lisp, Scheme, Racket) is advantageous.

• A strong systems thinker who prioritizes clean, efficient code and enjoys tackling complex product and architectural challenges with independence and responsibility.
