This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Utilizes primary development tools such as Medidata, Rave, Oracle OC/RDC, Oracle Inform, and/or SAS.
• Generates and maintains all necessary documentation, encompassing the development of specifications, programs, and validation efforts in support of annotated Case Report Forms (CRFs).
• Participates on project teams to coordinate and lead development activities for clinical programming projects.
• Attends meetings, engages in discussions, and employs an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Keeps project management informed of any issues that may affect project timelines, scope, or budget.
• Manages multiple task assignments and communicates needs to the supervisor for necessary resources.
• Provides technical support to the clinical programming staff, Project Analysts, Data Managers, and others.
• Delivers application administration and technical support as the subject matter expert on core business applications.
• Ensures high-quality deliverables by conducting senior reviews of study-level, program-level, and multi-study core deliveries for accuracy.
• Attends sponsor audits and assists with ongoing audits.
• Reviews and provides feedback on study budgets and monitors the scope of work against actual work.
• Monitors applications for workflow alerts, system errors, and performance issues.
• Executes system integration activities, application updates, and user acceptance testing.
• Offers leadership, training, guidance, and support to other department members based on expertise in specific skill sets.
• Collaborates with clients, peers, lead programmers, project teams, and/or requestors to clarify and finalize specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Ability to effectively engage with sponsors and internal customers at all levels.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a capacity to inform.
• Proven experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a matrix-structured environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as PL/SQL, SAS, C#, or VB is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 25%).
