This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Workflow: Collaborates with requestors and users to comprehend and document existing workflows based on clinical project inquiries, while considering future workflows optimized for any upcoming application changes.
• Design and Build: Recommends system enhancement opportunities and innovative technical solutions for clinic-related scenarios. Utilizes analytical evaluation skills to identify, propose, construct, and showcase prototypes of application configuration options for review and approval by project requestors.
• Conducts continuous maintenance and configuration updates for Epic applications.
• Test: With minimal supervision, develops test scripts, timelines, and plans for application and workflow modifications. Performs testing of clinical information system configurations and processes, which includes testing across applications and/or the application configurations of other analysts. Coordinates and engages in testing of application changes with requestors and users.
• Support: Offers tier-two support to end-users both remotely and in person. Monitors, investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves incoming support tickets. Acts as a liaison between users and vendors. Coordinates system fixes and modifications with software vendors. Oversees the rollout of application changes in conjunction with the training team and operations.

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required. Four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Additional Licenses & Certifications: Experience with the Epic Bugsy application is preferred.
• Epic certification must be maintained according to Epic Corporation standards - required within 18 months. It is strongly preferred to have this certification prior to hire.
• Medical - UT SELECT Medical insurance is provided at no cost for employees and is administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. Family members can be added through payroll deduction. • Disability - Employees have the opportunity to enroll in Disability Insurance, which provides income in the event that a non-work-related illness or injury prevents them from working.
• FSAs - Employees may enroll in flexible spending accounts (FSAs) to allocate pre-tax earnings for qualifying dependent daycare expenses or out-of-pocket healthcare costs.
• Retirement - Employees qualify for either the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) or the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP). TRS is a defined benefit retirement plan that UT Health matches employee contributions to. ORP is available for eligible faculty and staff. Additional voluntary retirement programs are also offered to invest pre- or post-tax dollars with a selection of five quality retirement plan providers.
• Time Off - A generous leave policy provides multiple paid leave options:
• - Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, allocated at the beginning of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in the first year based on the hire date.
• - Extended Illness Bank: 8 hours (1 day) accrued monthly, which can be utilized for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off has been taken.
• - Paid Family Leave: Up to 240 hours (6 weeks) to care for a spouse, child, or parent after six months of continuous employment.
