This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Implements pertinent elements of the project protocol in daily activities and guides others in their application.
• Serves as a liaison among departments and clients for all data management study operations.
• Generates project-specific status updates for management, the Project Lead, and/or clients regularly.
• Monitors and evaluates study metrics, escalating issues according to the organization's risk management protocols.
• May engage in business development initiatives by aiding in bid preparation and representing data management during bid defense meetings, as needed.
• Aids in project forecasting of hours and determining resource needs.
• Assists in overseeing project budgets, including identifying potential out-of-scope work and participating in the Contract Modification process.
• Leads projects that are high-volume and highly complex.
• Independently manages and assigns tasks to ensure timely completion of project activities in accordance with project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
• Mentors junior staff on all related tasks within a study.
• Provides administrative and financial oversight for assigned projects.
• Engages with management regarding all data management activities within their studies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent along with relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications.
• Prior experience that equips the individual with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the role (approximately 5+ years).
• Capability to effectively utilize knowledge and skills in a well-organized manner while adhering to regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and client expectations.
• Proficiency in using interactive computer programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a solid command of the English language and grammar.
• Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to work efficiently both in a team setting and independently as required.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning clinical data and clients' proprietary information.
• Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Competence to direct and train study teams.
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert for data management processes within the study or department.
• Capability to support project resourcing and adhere to project timeline planning.
