Senior Client Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of 30–45 strategic accounts while crafting proactive strategies that drive measurable outcomes, influence renewals, and reveal growth opportunities.

• Act as a product authority and consultative partner, converting Morning Consult platform data into practical guidance for clients.

• Oversee client onboarding and mentor users on how to maximize the value of the platform and its insights.

• Recognize risks and obstacles, guiding internal teams toward timely and thoughtful solutions.

• Gather and integrate client feedback to shape product, marketing, and operational strategies.

• Identify opportunities to exceed client expectations through education, partnerships, case studies, and testimonials.

• Share insights, assist new team members, and contribute to the continuous evolution of playbooks and processes.

• Influence internal strategies, promote peer development, and exemplify Morning Consult’s values.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a client-facing position, including roles in customer success, consulting, account management, or strategy.

• Prior experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts.

• Bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• Capability to connect insights and foresee future client requirements.

• Proficiency in customizing messaging for various stakeholders with accuracy and influence.

• Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and maintain composure during complex or escalated client discussions.

• Willingness and eagerness to learn about product functionalities and instruct users on how to derive value from tools and data.

• Receptiveness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
