This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Proactively oversee a designated caseload of first-party Commercial Property claims from intake through resolution, encompassing evaluation, reserving, and coverage analysis.
• Draft coverage correspondence and convey coverage positions to insured parties, brokers, and agents.
• Assist in managing TPA oversight and governance, including conducting audits of Vantage's Property programs, with findings presented to Claims Leadership.
• Utilize strong negotiation skills and property knowledge to achieve favorable outcomes – whether through direct negotiation or alternative dispute resolution.
• Develop and sustain robust relationships with TPA partners, insureds, brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders.
• Meticulously document claim files in accordance with company policy, best practices, and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to all of Vantage’s protocols regarding reserving, escalation, and reporting.
• Recognize emerging trends within the assigned caseload and the wider Property market, sharing insights with Claims Leadership and business partners.
• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory or equivalent professional experience.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in handling Commercial Property claims, including large and complex losses.
• Preferred insurance designations include CPCU, AIC, or AINS.
• Must possess active adjuster license(s) and/or be eligible to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in TPA oversight and auditing is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to provide assistance during CAT events.
• Proven experience in collaborating with internal stakeholders such as legal, operations, underwriting, and actuaries.
• Demonstrated dedication to continuous improvement in both personal skill development and identifying efficiencies in the claims handling process.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capability to communicate effectively and work independently are crucial.
• High levels of positivity, integrity, and reliability, combined with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented focus.
• Well-developed problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
