Senior Claims Specialist – CA Workers Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conducting investigations into losses.

• Evaluating coverage, assessing compensability, and determining benefits.

• Setting reserves and negotiating settlements.

• Facilitating phone meetings with insured individuals and claimants.

• Compiling large loss reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Participating in settlement conferences as required.

• Collaborating closely with defense attorneys and various vendors, including medical case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred 10+ years of experience, or 7+ years for outstanding candidates.

• Demonstrated success in adjusting California workers' compensation claims.

• Valid license for adjusting workers’ compensation claims in California.

• Must be available to work during Pacific Time Zone business hours.

• Strong preference for candidates holding industry designations such as Associate in Claims.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
