• Take charge of intricate and uncertain analytics claims projects from defining the problem to delivery, ensuring clear business outcomes and measurable success metrics.
• Convert vague stakeholder requests into well-structured hypotheses, analytical frameworks, and insights ready for decision-making by senior leadership.
• Manage the complete design and implementation of complex claims analytical data models and impactful Power BI dashboards, providing clear, actionable insights through compelling storytelling and thoughtful design.
• Develop and refine SQL queries to extract and transform claims data from enterprise sources, addressing ambiguous analytical challenges through thorough root-cause analysis and insight generation.
• Spearhead advanced analytical problem-solving utilizing DAX, statistical techniques, and trend analysis.
• Maintain analytical rigor, data integrity, and governance across all datasets and reporting solutions under your purview.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 6 years of analytical experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Over 4 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance sector, preferably in claims.
• Mastery of Power BI, including semantic modeling, advanced DAX, and best practices in visualization.
• Proficient in SQL, with experience in executing data pulls, joins, and aggregations on large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for transforming data into actionable business insights.
• Familiarity with innovative methodologies, processes, and principles.
• Effective communicator and collaborator, capable of partnering across functions to convert data and analytical needs into measurable and actionable results.
