Senior Claims Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conducting investigations into moderately complex, unrepresented claims.

• Managing both MIG and intricate first-party injury claims on a rotational basis.

• Taking responsibility for pending claims of Accident Benefit Claim Advisors.

• Analyzing insurance policy language and determining coverage options.

• Investigating, negotiating, and resolving accident benefits claims.

• Adhering to best practices as outlined in Allstate's policies and procedures.

• Ensuring comprehensive documentation of files.

• Engaging with claimants, vendors, medical professionals, and attorneys in a professional manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant Ontario Accident Benefits experience outside the MIG.

• Achieved ‘On Track’ or better file quality results in the past year.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent critical thinking skills to assess the strengths and weaknesses of claims.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Completion of CIP designation or a desire to pursue it is preferred.
