Senior CI/CD Engineer – Build Pipeline Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Become part of a significant engineering project aimed at enhancing a well-established mobile build and release platform.

• Engage in PR validation, merge queue dynamics, release build processes, caching strategies, artifact management, mobile signing, observability, and operational troubleshooting for iOS and Android delivery.

• Transform a chaotic pipeline environment into a reliable engineering resource.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful delivery of essential mobile releases.

• Contribute your extensive automation expertise and practical delivery insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of comprehensive software engineering experience.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, maintaining, and enhancing production CI/CD systems.

• In-depth hands-on proficiency with Jenkins in intricate environments.

• Relevant experience in operating CI/CD for mobile applications.

• Significant experience in creating reusable and maintainable GitHub Actions workflows.

• Capability to navigate through layered delivery systems.

• Experience in optimizing merge queue processes.

• Strong grasp of cache invalidation principles.

• Experience in designing or enhancing internal CLI or platform tools.

• Robust operational understanding of Xcode version management and CocoaPods.

• Strong knowledge of Gradle-based Android delivery processes.

• Practical skills in utilizing logs, metrics, execution traces, and delivery telemetry.

• Proven record of minimizing flaky builds.

• Experience in facilitating production release procedures.

• Strong scripting abilities in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

• Familiarity with Bitrise or comparable mobile CI providers (preferred).

• Experience with Mac-based CI runners.

• Hands-on experience with Fastlane (preferred).

• Familiarity with dependency graph analysis (preferred).
