
Senior Cell Processing Engineer β Duration-based Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Spearhead site master planning by converting capacity, technology, compliance, and business requirements into facility and operational strategies that align with site objectives.
β’ Offer technical guidance for the planning, installation, commissioning, qualification, and readiness of Grade A equipment, which includes isolators and aseptic processing technologies.
β’ Oversee CAR-T automation initiatives from evaluation and business case development through to execution, testing, governance, and integration.
β’ Create user requirements, assist with testing, evaluate process compatibility, and ensure readiness for new equipment, automation platforms, systems, and processes.
β’ Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, reliability, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and risk mitigation, accompanied by clear recommendations for progression.
β’ Manage operational documentation, which encompasses procedures, work instructions, electronic batch records, training resources, and change management outputs.
β’ Act as the representative for Operations in critical decisions related to facility planning, equipment and process design, qualification, validation, technology transfer, and automation.
β’ Utilize expertise in aseptic processing, contamination control, closed processing, biosafety, and advanced therapy manufacturing.
β’ Employ technical and operational judgment to address complex challenges and support scalable, compliant, inspection-ready operations.
β’ At least 8 years of pertinent work experience.
β’ Background in cGMP manufacturing, facility design, site master planning, aseptic equipment installation, isolator technology, automation implementation, technology transfer, validation, or quality operations.
β’ Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external partners in a matrixed environment.
β’ Capability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, lead through transitions, and translate cross-functional challenges into actionable solutions.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence colleagues, provide guidance, and aid in decision-making.
β’ Vacation β 120 hours per calendar year
