Senior C++ Software Engineer, Developer Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Become a part of the Developer Tools team to contribute to software projects like Nsight Systems.

• Engage with a diverse range of hardware platforms, from compact embedded systems to extensive multi-GPU and NUMA servers and clusters.

• Take part in research and benchmarking initiatives aimed at creating industry-leading technology solutions that can gather substantial performance data with minimal overhead.

• Collaborate with various teams to gather and comprehend their requirements.

• Gain insights into the functioning of underlying hardware and software, leveraging that knowledge to provide valuable features to users.

• Involve yourself in every phase of the software development life cycle.

• Develop methodologies for performance benchmarking and regression testing.

• Propel research initiatives towards the productization of Nsight Systems, delivering value to our most advanced users.

• Work alongside team members across different time zones in a fast-paced, energetic work setting.

• Engage with both internal and external users, assisting them in maximizing the value of our products and relaying their feedback to the product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering, along with 4 years of experience in a relevant software role.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, teamwork skills, and interpersonal capabilities.

• Proficient understanding of C++, with experience in concurrent programming.

• Strong grasp of algorithms and computer architecture principles.

• Familiarity with GPUs, CUDA, High Performance Computing (HPC), clusters, networking, and performance optimization in distributed systems.

• Practical experience in profiling and performance enhancements (e.g., Linux perf, VTune).

• Knowledge of software toolchains and their components (e.g., Arm tools, Android NDK tools, QNX).

• Experience with database management systems.

• Proficiency in Python programming.
