This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee reporting operations through the use of automated workflows, monitoring systems, and reporting tools.

• Serve as a pivotal consultant and contributor in the evaluation and assessment of prospective reporting solutions.

• Create, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards utilizing reporting platforms and associated tools.

• Ensure the delivery of reports is timely and of the utmost quality.

• Collaborate with Client Managers, Clients, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Product Owners to grasp business requirements along with specific analytics and reporting demands.

• Operate within an Agile framework to design, develop, test, and implement features and functions related to analytics and reporting.

• Exhibit a strong attention to detail in data design and governance of data sources.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a data-focused development role, including report development, business intelligence, or data warehouse operations.

• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining a data mart structure to enhance reporting capabilities.

• Outstanding SQL skills, coupled with the ability to utilize Python, Java, DAX, M, and other programming and scripting languages to support analytics and reporting needs through data design and sourcing.

• Preferred experience and certifications in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• Proven ability to design reports and dashboards, and to comprehend the underlying data sources, tools, and processes necessary for comprehensive business intelligence and reporting operations.

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (Redshift).

• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Fabric, Data Lake, Synapse, ADF, DevOps, Git integration with Power BI).

• Basic Linux skills and an understanding of open-source software.

• Experience working within Agile development teams and SaaS platforms.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with all service stakeholders, both internal and external.

• Commitment to adhering to and enhancing security practices within Data Warehouse operations.
