Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collect comprehensive requirements from business teams for new business intelligence and reporting projects.

• Document these requirements and convert them into user stories for the development team.

• Create and develop data models that cater to the reporting and analytics needs of the organization.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers and developers to ensure the effective delivery of BI solutions.

• Test and validate BI deliverables to guarantee they meet established requirements and provide the anticipated value.

• Liaise with business stakeholders to gather feedback, resolve issues, and manage ongoing support.

• Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and robust problem-solving abilities to identify and rectify data quality concerns.

• Maintain clear and concise communication with all project team members and stakeholders.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Analytics.

• 2-5 years of experience in a data-driven role, ideally within a business intelligence or reporting context.

• Skilled in data modeling, ETL processes/tools, and BI reporting tools (e.g., QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau).

• Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical information for business audiences.

• Attention to detail and a proven history of delivering high-quality results.

• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
