This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
β’ Identify, assess, and pursue business opportunities related to Rx softgel and late-stage oral solids within the designated portfolio of accounts, which includes both existing customers and prospects.
β’ Recognize key decision-makers and influencers within accounts.
β’ Prepare thoroughly for calls and visits, anticipating potential barriers and addressing them effectively.
β’ Document and validate customer requirements prior to presenting tailored solutions.
β’ Collaborate with R&D and Contract Management to prepare and present quotations for project development efforts to customers.
β’ Work alongside management, commercial operations, legal, and finance teams to prepare and negotiate development agreements and all commercial supply agreements.
β’ Oversee the business relationships with designated customers.
β’ Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, pricing, contract extensions or amendments, forecasting, conducting periodic business review meetings, and addressing other customer service-related issues.
β’ BA/BS degree in a scientific discipline, business, or a related field (an MS, MBA, or Ph.D. is preferred).
β’ At least 5 years of combined experience in business development/sales and scientific/technical roles within the pharmaceutical contract service sales (CDMO), pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors.
β’ An Associate's Degree along with 5 years of combined experience in business development/sales and scientific/technical roles within the pharmaceutical contract service sales (CDMO), pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors.
β’ Familiarity with the proposal development process, business quotes, budgeting, and managing projects to established timelines.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong negotiation abilities, are essential.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is mandatory; experience with Salesforce.com is advantageous.
