This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Formulate and implement the strategic business development plan for ecobee Energy Services, working alongside key stakeholders.
• Prepare, negotiate, and finalize partnership terms, collaborating closely with Finance and Legal, while obtaining executive endorsement.
• Work with product teams to establish, prioritize, and oversee partner integration requirements, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to and partners have the necessary resources.
• Partner with the Energy Services sales team to devise revenue strategies, setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess success.
• 7-12+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or strategy consulting (MBA preferred).
• Background in sectors such as consumer electronics, SaaS, or connected devices.
• Demonstrated success in creating and delivering ROI-oriented business opportunities.
• Proficiency in business development strategy based on customer and market insights (market opportunity identification, strategic positioning, playbooks).
• A 'builder's mindset' with a proven history of developing new business models, securing funding, and concluding complex negotiations.
• Outstanding communication and consensus-building abilities, with experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders.
