Senior Business Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Become an expert in healthcare insurance with the technical ability to create proof-of-concept solutions addressing various industry challenges.

• Conduct data cleaning and analysis utilizing SQL, Python, and AI models.

• Examine large datasets from multiple sources to uncover trends, identify gaps, and discover opportunities for improvement that support the healthcare system.

• Offer expertise in recognizing product applications and crafting strategies that tackle significant business and technical obstacles.

• Collect and translate business requirements into analytical applications, advanced visual dashboards, reports, or other alert systems.

• Document code using appropriate documentation tools and engage in collaborative team code reviews.

• Work alongside different teams within the organization to provide advice on technical solutions.

• Remain updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations to ensure the competitive market relevance of the company's products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data-focused positions OR 2 years in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.

• Proficiency in a Database Query Language: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or DB2.

• Familiarity with any of the following scripting languages: Python, R, or JavaScript, with a preference for Python.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Access.
