Senior Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert data architecture services utilizing contemporary cloud technologies.

• Design and create data systems to ensure effective data modeling and integration.

• Work closely with clients to comprehend their data management requirements and offer customized solutions.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management and architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in IT.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Power BI).

• Experience with Databricks (data engineering, SQL, notebooks, app/backend integration patterns).

• Familiarity with enterprise data warehouses and lakehouse platforms (Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery – experience with one or more).

• Extensive knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse patterns.

• Practical experience with at least one modern data platform: Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks is strongly preferred.

• Experience in integrating data platforms with applications using APIs, services, or event-driven patterns.

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts (security, networking, scalability, cost management).

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

• Background in client-facing or consulting roles.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting. Alternatively, equivalent experience.
