This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead and oversee projects and segments of larger initiatives from start to finish, ensuring that objectives are achieved within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans, which include timelines, milestones, risk management strategies, and resource distribution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to guarantee smooth project implementation.
• Track project advancements, proactively resolving any challenges or obstacles that arise.
• Adhere to project management best practices and organizational standards, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Compile detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Supervise vendor integration initiatives, encompassing data mapping, defining business use cases, and mapping business functions.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of vendor integration, from initial business requirements and vendor selection through to implementation and integration into the business model.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes, systems, and user needs to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Elicit, document, and manage business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
• Generate functional specifications, process diagrams, and use cases for communication with technical teams.
• Work with stakeholders to outline project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Assess and propose solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Contribute to data governance initiatives to define and enhance data lineage, processes, accuracy, and cataloging.
• Employ data analysis and automation tools such as Power BI, SQL, VBA, and Excel to assist business teams in developing data-driven solutions.
• BA/BS degree required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in the investment management sector.
• Demonstrated success in project management and business analysis, with a proven history of delivering projects successfully.
• Advanced knowledge of investment systems and complete vendor product management lifecycle.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with a talent for translating complex business processes into actionable requirements.
• Previous experience in the fixed income asset class.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Office 365, along with working knowledge of VBA and other automation tools.
