This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to collect, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Record both current and future state processes, workflows, and system interactions.
• Highlight data compliance and regulatory considerations during the requirements gathering process.
• Perform fit-gap analyses and provide guidance to stakeholders regarding system capabilities and potential solutions.
• Convert business needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT Solution Design & Delivery.
• Assist in solution design reviews and contribute insights on business feasibility, process impacts, and dependencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through AI and automation enablement.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure that system solutions are in line with approved requirements and business processes.
• Create, deliver, and maintain resources such as training materials, job aids, and enablement sessions.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case development and defect tracking.
• Coordinate testing activities with HR business users and technical teams.
• Manage testing and validation of new features introduced through Workday semiannual releases and ServiceNow updates.
• Aid in go-live readiness, deployment efforts, and post-implementation validation.
• Act as a liaison between HR stakeholders and the IT development team.
• Proactively monitor and assist in resolving complex incidents and service tickets in collaboration with IT.
• Adjust working hours to accommodate the APAC time zone.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• At least 3 years as a business analyst supporting HR technology within a complex global organization.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Practical experience in supporting solution builds within Workday HCM.
• Direct experience with ServiceNow HRSD is an advantage.
• Proven experience in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, functional design, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Demonstrated ability to draft functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for IT development teams.
• Experience in workflow process design using flowchart software such as Visio or Figma.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes throughout the employee life cycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
