Senior Business Analyst – Healthcare Revenue Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle stakeholders to gather, evaluate, and document both business and technical requirements.

• Assess current workflows to identify opportunities for automation, integration, and process enhancements.

• Design and implement solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform and relevant reporting tools.

• Create dashboards, reports, and data models that support decision-making for operational and leadership purposes.

• Work alongside IT and development teams to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.

• Produce detailed process documentation, functional design documents, and user stories.

• Perform system and workflow analyses to propose scalable and sustainable improvements.

• Assist in testing, validating, and implementing new solutions and enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Healthcare / Revenue Cycle: In-depth understanding of hospital Revenue Cycle operations, encompassing patient access, billing, claims, and collections workflows.

• Experience with healthcare financial data and reporting.

• Power Platform & AI: At least 3 years' experience in building, training, and deploying AI-powered solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, including tools like AI Builder and Copilot Studio.

• Power Automate: Minimum 3 years of experience and proficiency in creating complex Desktop and Cloud flows.

• Familiarity with SQL database connectors.

• Knowledge of machine runtimes.

• Experience with web scraping techniques.

• Power BI: At least 3 years of experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports, including Power Query transformations, custom DAX measures, and advanced conditional formatting.

• MS SQL: Intermediate proficiency in writing SQL queries, joining multiple tables, and filtering/manipulating data to support reporting and automation.

• Epic SQL 1 and SQL 2 Self-Study preferred.

• Python: Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and managing Python scripts.

• Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency, including writing macros (VBA) and managing complex data models.

• Requirements & Documentation: Over 5 years of experience in gathering technical requirements from stakeholders.

• More than 5 years of experience in creating workflow documentation, including process maps, functional design documents, and user stories.

• Prepare high-level requirement documentation (HLD) and software requirement specifications (SRS).

• Develop testing plans and scripts.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• System Analysis: More than 5 years of experience in analyzing operational workflows and recommending integration and automation solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
