Senior Business Analyst – Health Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to pinpoint business challenges and devise suitable analytical solutions.

• Design and plan straightforward to moderately complex business processes and system alterations.

• Offer suggestions to enhance and support business operations.

• Collect, analyze, document, and communicate intricate business requirements and processes.

• Develop sophisticated test case scenarios and oversee or monitor business application testing.

• Create business requirements documents and user stories.

• May manage, allocate, and oversee the work of other business analysts.

• Comprehend systems and associated data to uncover actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.

• Aid in providing time estimates for tasks related to projects.

• Revise process and procedural documentation.

• Acquire a fundamental understanding of the technical development cycle for mobile applications or web portals.

• Assist during QA, UAT, and release phases through defect analysis and maintenance of changes.

• Execute other assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• A degree in Business, IT, or a relevant field.

• Prior experience in the health insurance sector is mandatory.

• Experience in Insurtech is preferred.

• Certification related to Health Insurance from INS/LOMA or III is a plus.

• Understanding of business analysis principles, including requirement definitions, translating them into technical solutions, and an Agile approach towards prioritizing tasks into epics and sprints.

• Proficient in business analysis skills such as facilitation, process documentation, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience in an Agile and/or Scrum environment is essential.

• Basic knowledge of generating process documentation, documenting system functionalities, data integration, and workflow processes.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Technical writing skills are an advantage.
