Senior Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Serve as a bridge between the client’s business organization and software delivery teams.

• Perform in-depth analysis of existing business processes and workflows to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document business requirements for new projects or system improvements.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.

• Create and maintain project documentation, such as business requirements, process flows, and user manuals.

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure coherence and successful execution of projects.

• Conduct data analysis and interpretation to aid decision-making and promote business insights.

• Anticipate risks and issues, and formulate mitigation strategies to secure project success.

• Engage in testing activities, which include test planning, execution, and defect management.

• Offer training and support to end-users to facilitate the successful adoption of new processes and systems.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in business analysis and process improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst with a proven record of successful project delivery.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for critical and creative thinking.

• Skilled in various requirement analysis, modeling, and documentation techniques (e.g., business process modeling, use cases/user stories, data flow diagrams, data interrogation, data mapping, etc.).

• Proficient in tools for creating wireframes/workflows such as Balsamiq, Lucidchart, MS Visio, UML, etc.

• Solid grasp of the complete software development lifecycle and different development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA).

• Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Comprehensive understanding of software development architectures and the entire software development lifecycle.

• Capable of writing SQL queries.
