Senior Boomi Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Define and manage integration reference architectures, reusable patterns, and industry best practices.

• Facilitate solution design sessions with clients, architects, and business stakeholders.

• Create robust, secure, and scalable solutions utilizing Boomi AtomSphere (Atoms, Molecules, API Management, Master Data Hub, B2B/EDI).

• Produce architecture documents (High-Level Design, Low-Level Design) and ensure compliance during implementation.

• Supervise error-handling strategies, retry/replay mechanisms, and performance optimization for critical integrations.

• Establish coding standards, reusable libraries, and design patterns within the practice.

• Conduct code evaluations, architecture assurance, and quality controls for all projects.

• Set security and compliance standards (OAuth2, mTLS, token lifecycles, PII management).

• Ensure all integrations comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI, SOC2, HIPAA, GLBA).

• Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales / Solution Consultants to support RFPs, demonstrations, and SOW estimations.

• Work with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines, environmental strategies, monitoring, and alert systems.

• Mentor and guide Boomi developers and junior architects, fostering strong delivery teams.

• Partner with data engineers, cloud architects, and security leads on hybrid integration strategies (on-premises + cloud).

• Propel the development of accelerators, templates, and industry-specific connectors to streamline delivery timelines.

• Stay updated with the Boomi roadmap and iPaaS trends; suggest new functionalities (event-driven, microservices, low-code/no-code adoption).

• Represent the practice at Boomi community events, webinars, and partner enablement sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise integration design and implementation.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere (Atoms, Molecules, API Management, EDI, MDH).

• Strong background in API design (REST/SOAP, OpenAPI/Swagger), microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Expertise in data mapping, transformation, and orchestration across diverse systems (CRM, ERP, Core Banking, HRIS, Cloud applications).

• Proficiency in security protocols: OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, SAML, and role-based access controls.

• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (Splunk, DataDog, ELK).

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid network architectures.

• Exceptional client-facing communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.

• Boomi Professional Architect or Developer Certification is preferred.

• Experience with Boomi Master Data Hub (MDH) and Boomi B2B/EDI is preferred.

• Hands-on knowledge of adjacent platforms such as Snowflake, Kafka, MuleSoft, Informatica, or Dell ECS is preferred.

• Background in regulated sectors (Financial Services, Healthcare, Government) is preferred.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
