Senior BIM Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• The Senior BIM Specialist I is a senior-level production position for individuals who have opted for a career in modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination.

• You will leverage your extensive expertise in Revit to oversee project modeling workflows, manage model integrity, and ensure that TEECOM’s outputs are precise, well-organized, and thoroughly coordinated.

• You will collaborate closely with engineers to convert markups and design concepts into clear and constructible documentation.

• You will proactively identify coordination challenges, resolve modeling discrepancies, conduct clash detection, and facilitate BIM-related decisions that enhance project efficiency.

• As a production leader, you will provide training and mentorship to Designers in Revit, modeling best practices, documentation techniques, and TEECOM standards.

• You will exemplify a disciplined, process-oriented approach to production and contribute to the enhancement of BIM workflows utilized throughout the firm.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience in BIM production.

• Over 4 years of experience in the AEC industry with a strong command of Revit, coordinated modeling, BIM execution, and construction documentation across various projects.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting technology system layouts (telecom/ICT, audiovisual, security, acoustics, or network) and collaborating with engineers to convert design intent into coordinated BIM outputs.

• Ability to manage and maintain coordinated Revit models, produce accurate documentation with minimal supervision, and independently resolve production challenges.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the capability to manage BIM workflows across multiple projects, lead coordination-focused production efforts, and support engineers and project teams.

• Strong understanding of cross-discipline coordination and building system interactions; ability to interpret markups, comprehend design intent, and foresee modeling impacts with limited guidance.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.

• Industry certifications are preferred but not mandatory: Autodesk Certified Professional — plus, CDT — plus, CTS (AV) — plus, RCDD (Telecom) — plus, PSP/CPP (Security) — plus.
