Senior Billing, Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage the complete billing and accounts receivable process, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency.

• Prepare and review invoices for precision, completeness, and adherence to company policies.

• Track accounts receivable aging reports and oversee the collection process to guarantee timely payment receipt.

• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and promptly address any billing issues.

• Develop and execute effective strategies to enhance the billing and collection process.

• Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure accurate and timely billing.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to billing and accounts receivable, offering insights and recommendations.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and audits.

• Mentor and guide junior billing and accounts receivable staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Support the finance team with special projects and initiatives as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.

• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
