Senior BI Analyst, Data Visualization, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create analytical solutions and corporate dashboards utilizing Power BI

• Transform data into strategic insights to facilitate decision-making

• Manage the process from requirements gathering to the final delivery of solutions

• Develop dashboards, reports, and executive, tactical, and operational panels in Power BI

• Implement best practices in data visualization, data storytelling, and user experience (UX) principles

• Create semantic models, metrics, and KPIs using DAX and dimensional modeling techniques

• Evaluate and enhance reports, queries, and semantic models to guarantee performance and scalability

• Collaborate with various business sectors to establish KPIs, business rules, and analytical needs

• Execute end-to-end projects, ensuring quality, standardization, and added value

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in developing corporate dashboards and analytical solutions

• Advanced expertise in dashboard design, data storytelling, user experience (UX), and visualization best practices

• Proficient in DAX and SQL for data analysis and manipulation

• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star Schema)

• Experience in creating complex measures and semantic models

• Familiarity with DAX Studio, Tabular Editor, and Performance Analyzer for model and report assessment and optimization

• Knowledge of Semantic Models, Direct Lake, Lakehouse, and integration within the Power BI/Fabric ecosystem

• Experience with Databricks is an advantage

• Microsoft PL-300 certification is a plus

• Familiarity with Figma or other prototyping and dashboard design tools is beneficial

• Ability to comprehend processes, KPIs, and business requirements, translating them into effective analytical solutions

• Capability to interpret complex scenarios, suggest enhancements, and support data-driven decision-making
