Senior Backend/Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend systems for synchronizing data between Notion and external databases/workflows.

• Create models for hierarchical data structures and implement scalable storage solutions (e.g., Supabase).

• Develop tools to automate the Atlas editing workflow, identifying changes in document structure and generating proposals.

• Establish integrations with third-party APIs and manage data flows across various services.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define the system architecture and maintain technical alignment.

• Conduct research and contribute to the development of a custom knowledge management platform (e.g., utilizing Model C Protocol Servers).

• Promote and implement AI-assisted tools within the workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production-quality backend services.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Python, Go, Rust, or Java is advantageous.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL databases, with the capability to design and query both relational and graph-based schemas.

• Experience with Notion APIs (Node.js) and managing third-party API integrations.

• Understanding of pagination, rate limits, and structured data formats.

• Ability to design and implement effective algorithms.

• Experience with Supabase or similar modern database platforms.

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in technical documentation.

• Comfortable utilizing AI assistants and integrating them into everyday workflows.
