Senior Backend Software Engineer, Voice Squad

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• As part of our rapid expansion, we are enhancing our internal engineering team by introducing a Senior Backend Software Engineer role within our Voice Squad.

• The Voice Squad serves as the software backbone of our CCaaS telephony, responsible for essential technical services that guarantee secure and high-performance processing of phone calls on the Diabolocom platform. It oversees vital components related to call routing, media stream handling, and other voice-related functionalities.

• Implement Telephony as a Service, which will form a part of our Omni-channel as a Service offering.

• Conduct extensive optimization and refactoring efforts to facilitate quicker feature delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development within product-oriented companies, including a minimum of 3 years with a strong focus on Java/Kotlin.

• Proficient in working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot is considered an advantage.

• Experience in designing and implementing robust distributed systems, with the capability to make architectural decisions and assess their effects on system performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Demonstrated autonomy and leadership potential, with an eagerness to evolve into a lead role.

• Comfortable with enhancing and maintaining an existing codebase.

• A strong engineering culture, meticulous attention to detail, and a business-oriented mindset.
