Senior Backend Software Engineer – Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• You will join the newly formed RD Conversas team, tasked with developing an integrated email solution from the ground up for the RD Conversas platform, which currently emphasizes WhatsApp.

• Your responsibilities will include creating new features for an established product while balancing speed, quality, and consistency, as well as acting as a technical reference for the team by supporting and guiding engineers.

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions for the new email system.

• Write high-quality code that adheres to best practices and standards.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and readability.

• Identify and address complex issues such as critical bugs, performance bottlenecks, and architectural failures.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, sharing technical expertise and best practices.

• Contribute to system architecture and the ongoing enhancement of processes including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment.

• Transform business requirements into technical solutions, effectively communicating risks and timelines.

• Extensive experience in software engineering with a specialization in Node.js.

• Proficiency in TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Vue.js.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of software architecture and development best practices.

• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, autonomous approach and a profile suited for technical leadership.

• Critical, analytical, and systemic thinking abilities, with a strategic and scalable mindset.

• Capability to negotiate, organize, and collaborate effectively within a team.
