Senior Backend Software Engineer – .NET, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable microservices within a cloud-first framework (AWS).

• Convert product requirements into strong technical designs and architectural choices.

• Create secure and resilient backend services utilizing C# and .NET Core.

• Maintain robust automated testing methodologies that align with the testing pyramid.

• Evaluate peers’ code and mentor engineers to enhance engineering standards.

• Spearhead research and technical planning for intricate projects.

• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.

• Advocate for best practices that balance performance, scalability, cost, and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, UX Designers, and UI Engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET Core.

• Extensive knowledge of microservices architecture and service-oriented design.

• Strong background in AWS and a solid grasp of cloud best practices.

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in SQL and relational database design (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora).

• Familiarity with DynamoDB.

• Experience in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud applications.

• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices.

• Experience working within distributed, global teams.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
