Senior Backend Software Engineer – Engagement & Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver AI-driven features from concept to completion. You are responsible for quality, latency, and cost.

• Create backend services and APIs that can withstand real-world demands.

• Monitor the performance of your releases, analyze the data, and rectify any issues.

• Conduct thorough reviews of code and designs. Challenge any inconsistencies that arise.

• Assist in transitioning prompt, retrieval, and agent modifications from experimental stages to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python with proven experience in deploying and managing production backends.

• Strong knowledge of AWS, including serverless architectures (Lambda).

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Postgres), with an understanding of access patterns and potential pitfalls.

• Hands-on experience designing, integrating, and monitoring APIs in a production environment.

• Familiarity with event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS).

• Experience with production observability tools: metrics, logs, traces, and alerts (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).

• Comfortable working with distributed systems and addressing loosely-defined problems.

• Required experience in Kotlin, Golang, or Java, along with a solid background in microservices and distributed systems.
