This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design and implement AI-driven features from start to finish, taking responsibility for quality, latency, and cost.
• Develop backend services and APIs that perform reliably under substantial load.
• Monitor the performance of your outputs, analyze metrics, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Critically assess code and designs, providing constructive feedback when inconsistencies are identified.
• Assist in transitioning prompt, retrieval, and agent modifications from experimentation to production.

• Proficient in Python with a proven history of delivering and maintaining production backends.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, including serverless technologies (Lambda).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Postgres), including an understanding of access patterns and potential pitfalls.
• Hands-on experience designing, integrating, and monitoring APIs in a production environment.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems, such as Kafka and SQS.
• Knowledge of production observability tools: metrics, logs, traces, and alerts (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Comfortable working with distributed systems and tackling loosely-defined problems.
