This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Leading and actively engaging in the design, development, and upkeep of backend systems and APIs.
• Architecting and executing scalable and robust backend solutions capable of managing increasing user demands and adapting to evolving business requirements.
• Upholding high coding standards, conducting code reviews, and ensuring best practices for code maintainability and clarity.
• Detecting bottlenecks and optimizing code and algorithms to enhance system performance.
• Implementing monitoring and debugging tools to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring system availability is maintained at a high level.
• Developing and sustaining comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to guarantee the reliability of backend systems.
• Offering guidance and mentorship to junior developers, aiding in their technical skill development.
• Analyzing intricate technical challenges and proposing effective solutions to resolve them.
• Documenting code, APIs, and technical procedures to promote knowledge sharing within the team and assist in the onboarding of new developers.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Prior experience in the blockchain domain with a technical understanding of the EVM ecosystem.
• Experience working with the Stellar network in production settings.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript is essential.
• Solid grasp of document databases and caching strategies.
• Extensive professional experience in a similar senior or lead role.
• Background in software design and system architecture.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Proactive mindset with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to write maintainable, scalable, production-quality code.
• Curiosity about new technologies and the capability to assess and recommend improvements independently.
• Very strong written and verbal English communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
