Senior Backend Engineer, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Extensive development experience in Node.js/TypeScript, with 5+ years in the field.

• Solid comprehension of asynchronous programming approaches.

• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.

• Background in distributed systems.

• Proficiency with RDBMs (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), CDBMs (Redshift, ClickHouse, etc.), and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).

• Experience in crafting end-to-end and unit tests.

• Proven track record in developing production-ready solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of enterprise development patterns.

• Experienced in large-scale microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, etc.).

• Active monitoring of performance metrics.

• Experience in the gambling sector.

• Awareness of application security, industry standards, and best practices.
