Senior Backend Engineer – .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and create robust, scalable, and secure applications utilizing .NET (C#);

• Architect and execute solutions based on microservices;

• Implement best practices such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD);

• Develop and maintain APIs using REST and/or GraphQL;

• Create responsive frontend components with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript;

• Collaborate with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity;

• Containerize applications using Docker and oversee deployments;

• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined delivery;

• Work alongside cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps);

• Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software development;

• Strong proficiency in .NET / C#;

• Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture;

• Practical experience with DDD and TDD methodologies;

• Experience in creating APIs with REST and/or GraphQL;

• Solid frontend skills with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript;

• Familiarity with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases;

• Practical experience with Docker and containerization;

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes;

• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure;

• Strong analytical and system design capabilities;

• NICE TO HAVE: Familiarity with Kubernetes; Understanding of event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.); Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; Prior experience in leading or mentoring teams.
