Senior Backend Engineer – Identity, Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Architect & scale: Spearhead the development and expansion of our central OIDC provider.

• OIDC federation: Oversee and execute integrations with various OIDC providers and social login platforms.

• Subscription logic expansion: Create and implement sophisticated subscription mapping.

• Single-item payments: Establish the foundation for more detailed payment models.

• Security and privacy by design: Guarantee that our identity service acts as a stronghold for user data.

• Collaboration: Partner closely with our SDK and frontend teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Deep OIDC/OAuth2 expertise: You possess a thorough understanding of the underlying protocols, flows, and security considerations.

• Backend reliability: You are a seasoned developer with extensive experience in TypeScript/Node.js, preferably.

• Identity experience: You have engaged with identity providers like Ory Hydra, Keycloak, or Auth0, or have created custom identity solutions from the ground up.

• Product thinking: Your technical decisions have a significant impact on the business.

• Security first: You maintain a security-focused mindset and have experience with JWTs, encryption, and token management.

• Language: Proficient in English (German is a plus but not mandatory).
