This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
β’ Oversee the execution of significant team-focused projects and engage in cross-team collaborations for Remote's HR and Payroll offerings.
β’ Actively engage in product development within the team: offer feedback, propose solutions to issues, and leverage technical knowledge to recommend product enhancements.
β’ Maintain a solid understanding of the teamβs area, encompassing both product and engineering perspectives.
β’ Provide constructive feedback during code review sessions.
β’ Contribute to the collective codebase.
β’ Troubleshoot and address technical and business challenges.
β’ Involve yourself in activities outside the team, including support rotations, the hiring process, RFC discussions, and more.
β’ Mentor fellow engineers and provide them with guidance.
β’ Explore, suggest, and aid in the implementation of enhancements to our platform.
β’ Design interfaces with a focus on performance, accessibility, and API architecture.
β’ Redefine the process of how engineering tasks are executed with autonomous agents as the standard execution layer.
β’ Propose and implement agentic workflows from start to finish (specification β planning β execution β verification) to expedite outcomes.
β’ Develop reusable agentic workflows and components in the codebase for teams to utilize consistently across various domains.
β’ Implement verification loops (tests, checks, evaluations, guardrails) to guarantee that results are accurate, secure, dependable, and scalable.
β’ Strong engineering principles with a proven history of delivering production systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
β’ Hands-on experience in designing or implementing agentic/automation workflows (or similar systems) and refining them through continuous improvement.
β’ Ability to think systemically: clearly define specifications, break down plans, implement verification, and ensure quality closure.
β’ Proficiency in Postgres (or a similar database system).
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Github, Jenkins or similar).
β’ Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, and React/Vue/Angular.
