Senior Backend Engineer, Elixir

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• You will be joining a team of engineers specializing in Frontend, Backend, SRE, and QA.

• We are organized into cross-functional development teams dedicated to specific verticals.

• Regardless of your assigned team, you will focus on developing tools, APIs, and integrations for one of our products.

• Our backend technology is based on Elixir and Phoenix, utilizing a Postgres database.

• We utilize GitLab for version control, issue tracking, and as a CI/CD solution.

• Our applications are deployed on AWS.

• You will also be introduced to ownership-driven observability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid engineering fundamentals and proven experience in delivering production systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable.

• Hands-on experience in designing or implementing agentic/automation workflows (or similar systems) and enhancing them through iterative improvements.

• Capability to think systemically: clearly define specifications, breakdown plans, enable verification, and ensure quality closure.

• Proficiency with Postgres (or equivalent).

• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab, Github, Jenkins, or similar tools).

• Exhibits strong automation skills and fluency in AI technologies.

• Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Next.js, and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
